Alo Yoga announced plans to open a new store in the Latin American market in the first quarter of 2025 at JK Iguatemi in São Paulo, Brazil.
Alo Yoga joins other labels, including Loewe and Le Labo, H&M, Comme des Garçons, and Tiffany, who debuted in the country at JK Iguatemi locations, which are considered showcases of luxury in Sao Paulo.
Iguatemi is the third largest Brazilian company working within the fields of creation, planning, development, and administration of shopping centers after BRMalls and Multiplan. Iguatemi has shareholdings in 17 shopping malls, one premium outlet and three office towers.
Alo Yoga is a U.S.-based apparel retailer headquartered in Los Angeles. It was founded in 2007 by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge and has championed the athleisure trend since the business first opened with pieces that transition from yoga studios to social and work settings.
In addition to its apparel offerings, Alo Yoga offers a wellness line, including men’s sportswear and self-care products.
Satomi Nanba, the director of retail at Iguatemi, said in a media statement, “We are honored to debut Alo Yoga’s first South American location at JK Iguatemi, the gateway for luxury brands entering the continent. This is a commitment to sharing Alo Yoga’s vision of mindful movement and premium athleisure with Brazil’s dynamic and rapidly growing wellness community.”
