24 Hour Fitness, headquartered in San Ramon, CA and operator of more than 400 club across the U.S., celebrated the opening of its newest club in the Firethorne community of Katy, TX. The location is within the Shops at Katy Reserve – a retail, food and entertainment complex.
A grand opening event is scheduled for December 3.
The new club is one part of the fitness- and lifestyle-minded shopping mall, which will also offer a 17,000-square-foot park-like green space. The Firethorne community continues to grow, with 1,000 new homes projected to close in the next year.

The new club is more than 37,000 square feet.
