Yoga wear company, Zobha, recently sponsored the 2011 Yoga Journal San Francisco Conference.

The conference took place January 14-17, 2011 and participants were able to choose from over 100 classes with more than 50 master teachers.

In addition to sponsoring the conference, Zobha arranged to bring Wendy Wyvill from Hong Kong in to teach the Zobha-sponsored community yoga class. Wyvill is a top Pure Yoga teacher and a member of Zobha Circle of Grace. She has been practicing yoga since 2001 and has studied under the guidance of Bikram Choudhury and Baron Baptiste. She currently teaches at Pure Yoga Hong Kong and previously taught at Neoalpine, YogaPod and Yaletown Yoga studios.

“We're so pleased to sponsor the Yoga Journal Conference in San Francisco and especially pleased that Wendy was able to come teach a class. Wendy helps her students live with grace on and off the mat and this class can inspire students to rise to life's challenges, no matter what they are, with grace,” said Jamie Hanna, Founder and CEO of Zobha.

Zobha also participated in the Yoga Marketplace, an exhibit hall where vendors showcased their latest products. The Marketplace was open January 14-16, and was free and open to the public.

“We love being involved in our community and felt so honored to be a part of the conference. Fifteen students from Headstand, one of our favorite nonprofit organizations, made Wendy's class extra special. Headstand brings yoga to at risk youth and two of the students spoke before Wendy's class, leaving everyone inspired. The entire conference was truly unforgettable and we can't wait for our next community class at the Yoga Journal New York Conference this May, ” said Hanna.

Founded in 2008, Zobha offers yoga apparel and accessories, such as yoga bags. The company is located in California and its products are sold in 350 retail stores in 27 countries. The company's Zobha Foundation supports a number of charitable organizations, including Headstand and Breast Cancer Awareness.
