Zanders Sporting Goods, a national distributor of firearms located in Sparta, IL, announced that Stefanie Zanders has been appointed vice president and chief operating officer.

Having worked in the family business for 25 years, Zanders is uniquely qualified to lead warehouse and logistical operations. She has been successful in enhancing warehouse automation and implementing common sense solutions that deliver value to their customers.

She continues to manage the day-to-day operations of Zanders Sporting Goods in her current capacity as vice president/COO.

The company said, “She exercises a dogged determination in exploring ways to enhance and increase production while controlling the growth of the business. Now, as the fourth generation of family is coming of age, her focus is keeping the organization successful and continuing the legacy.”

This announcement comes shortly after her appointment to the NASGW board of directors, which was announced in October of 2016.

“We are thrilled to have Stefanie join our leadership team to help us strengthen the association’s impact on the industry and share our confidence in two-step distribution. Stefanie brings a wealth of background and experience to the Board of Directors,” said Kenyon Gleason, NASGW president. “I’m confident that Stefanie will help us push the association in a positive direction.”

Zanders Sporting Goods has been serving U.S. firearms dealers for well over 50 years. With more than 40,000 products that now include archery, archery accessories, and camping products, Zanders has it all in their new, streamlined warehouse.

“Our customers have always come first and we strive to go above and beyond their expectations everyday,” states Stefanie Zanders. “Both old and new customers alike will enjoy our ever-growing inventory of outdoor products and accessories as well as our commitment to ensure their complete satisfaction.”
