Zamberlan, reaffirms its commitment to the U.S. market with its launch of the 2006 Spring collection at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, booth #5341, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Expanding distribution and serving more specialty retail shops is Zamberlan USA’s top priority, recently hiring an outdoor industry design expert to develop new products and appointing Dick McNamara and Derek Wiseman, both sports industry veterans, to assist the company’s growth in the U.S. market.

Known for its Italian craftsmanship and attention to detail, Zamberlan is excited to present its 2006 collection that combines cutting-edge American design, rich colours and high quality Italian materials. This is best represented in the new Ascent collection–a contemporary line for men and women, using Gore-Tex XCR® breathable lining–footwear comfortable and durable enough to be worn at the top of Stratton Mountain or on the streets of Manhattan.

Zamberlan has manufactured quality mountain boots for over 75 years, founded in 1929 by Giuseppe Zamberlan, the father of present day Chairman, Emilio. Today, Emilio’s son and daughter, the third generation of the family, are also actively involved in manufacturing, testing and selling Zamberlan boots. The factory is located about one hour from Venice, at the foot of the Piccole Dolomiti, the ideal mountain environment for testing new products. Zamberlan footwear is available worldwide, in 35 countries, and can currently be found at MEC in Canada and REI in the USA.
