Yonex, a Japanese provide of tennis, badminton and golf products, reported total sales for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 inched up 0.9 percent to ¥10.2 billion ($129 mm) from ¥10.1 billion ($130 mm) from in the prior-year period. Gross margins fell 240 basis points to 38.6 percent of sales. Yonex net income dipped 0.7 percent to ¥275 million ($3.5 million) in the fiscal second quarter.
