Xenith announced that running back LeSean McCoy has joined the Xenith Team as an Enlightened Warrior and Xenith Brand Ambassador.
McCoy is a running back for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Pittsburgh, and was chosen by the Eagles in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
McCoy wore the “5 Star Virginia Tech Rated” Xenith X2 football helmet during the 2013 season. He won the NFL rushing title after finishing the 2013 season with the most rushing yards in the league.
Xenith said in a statement, “He has accomplished this while exemplifying the characteristics of an Enlightened Warrior off the field. The combination of on-field off-field excellence made LeSean a perfect candidate to represent the Xenith brand. We look forward to LeSean being another face of Xenith, both as a role model to young athletes and a national voice on behalf of safety, innovation and education.”
LeSean McCoy added, “The comfort and protection I get from a Xenith helmet helps me perform at a high level each and every week. I never have to worry about adjusting my chin strap or my helmet coming off during play on the field with the technology. Xenith is simply the best helmet on the planet.”
Xenith football helmets feature Xenith Adaptive Head Protection – a system of patented technologies designed to provide superior fit and to minimize the sudden movement of the head during impact. Xenith helmets have been worn by over 200,000 players at all levels, including youth, high school, major college and the NFL.
