Nonbox, Inc. has been named agency of record for CAT Footwear, a subsidiary of Wolverine World Wide, Inc. Nonbox will handle the all advertising duties for the global footwear company.
Nonbox began working with CAT Footwear's Industrial Brand earlier this year. “We were impressed with the mix of creative and strategic vision Nonbox brought to the table with our Industrial line,” commented Dani Zizak, vice president of global marketing for CAT Footwear. “We wanted to take their approach and create a unified brand strategy for our entire footwear product line.”
Nonbox is in the process of implementing a consumer research program that will help guide CAT Footwear's 2004 creative and media strategies.
“The reason Wolverine licensed the CAT name is because it's one of the world's most recognizable brands,” noted Steve Flood, Nonbox's Creative Director. “Our job is to help Wolverine discover the best ways to leverage CAT's incredible heritage and turn their footwear brand into a global badge of self-expression for consumers who share the company's values.”
