ENK International LLC announced new dates and venues for the WSA Shows in 2010 and beyond. In February 2010, the three-day WSA show will be held on February 2, 3 and 4 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
The 2010 summer show will be held under one roof on August 3, 4, and 5 at The Venetian Casino Resort / Sands Expo and Convention Center.
“We are very excited to announce these changes in dates and venues, signaling a return to the footwear industry's historical calendar and offering this premier event under a single roof,” said Elyse Kroll, Chairman of the Board and Chief Creative Officer of ENK International.
“Our footwear brands and retailers requested a single venue and earlier show dates and we responded,” Kroll continued, “Realizing that the previous show schedule made it difficult for our exhibitors to effectively manage their supply chains, we set a goal to find dates and venues that benefited our global buyers and sellers. We are very pleased that we are able to support their needs.”
“We are committed to maintaining WSA's leadership role in supporting the footwear industry by being a catalyst for getting business done,” Ms. Kroll said. “We believe these changes will achieve that goal.”
The semi-annual show will be held at The Venetian in 2011 and 2012.
The specific dates are as follows:
- February 2-4, 2010 at Mandalay Bay
- August 3-5, 2010 at The Venetian/Sands Expo and Convention Center
- February 1-3, 2011 at The Venetian/Sands Expo and Convention Center
- August 2-4, 2011 at The Venetian/Sands Expo and Convention Center
- February 6-8 2012 at The Venetian/The Sands Expo and Convention Center
- August 1-3, 2012 at The Venetian/Sands Expo and Convention Center
