Roswell Brayton, President and CEO of Woolrich, Inc., announced the appointment of Jerry Rinder as vice president sales and domestic licensing. He will report directly to Brayton.

Rinder comes to Woolrich after serving as vice president and general manager of Swiss Army Brands, Victorinox Division, in Shelton, CT. Prior to his tenure at Swiss Army Brands, he was executive vice president of Pringle of Scotland, manufacturer of knitwear, sweaters and golf lines. He has also had extensive apparel and footwear experience with both Timberland and Izod LaCoste.

Jerry earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University and then served as a First Lieutenant with the U.S. Marine Corps. He and his wife Francie will be relocating to the Woolrich area.

In making the announcement, Brayton said, “Jerry brings a wealth of experience in both apparel and the outdoor industry. His extensive background and reputation as a brand builder will be invaluable to our sales efforts. Jerry’s history strongly reflects his ability for team building and development of long-term relationships.”
