Portland Product Werks (PPW), a premium footwear licensing group, has hired a national sales manager and sales team to launch the debut Woolrich Footwear collection in Fall 2014. Mike Mangiarancina joins Portland Product Werks as national sales
manager of the Woolrich Footwear brand. Mangiarancina brings more than
25 years of experience in the retail and wholesale industry working with
leading footwear brands such as: Nike, Timberland, Lloyd Shoes, H.H.
Brown and Rockport. He also brings experience working with better
department stores and independent footwear retailers throughout North
America.
PPW announced in September its long-term, global licensing agreement with Woolrich, Inc. to design, source and distribute premium footwear and slipper collections for men and women.
“Mike and our team of highly experienced and respected sales professionals were selected to bring the iconic brand Woolrich to the footwear market,” said Sean Beers, president of Portland Product Werks. “As with each element surrounding the launch of Woolrich into footwear, we have carefully selected the best of the best to represent Woolrich, Portland Product Werks, and ultimately, the account base in the U.S. We are confident that this group will have a meaningful impact on the business going forward.”

The PPW sales team will showcase the entire Woolrich Footwear Fall 2014 collection, which features woven-in-the-U.S.A. wool from the historic Woolrich, Pa. mill, at the upcoming FFANY tradeshow in New York, Dec. 4-6, 2013; as well as Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City, Jan. 22-25, 2014; and at Project in Las Vegas, Feb. 18-20, 2014.
