Wolverine World Wide, has made several key promotions and
organizational changes relating to its corporate and branded operations, specifically in its outdoor group and Hush Puppies.
Stephen Gulis, Jr. will become president, global operations
group, effective 2008. Gulis, who will remain an
EVP of the company, currently serves as CFO, a role he will
continue to fulfill until his replacement as CFO has been named and
fully integrated into the company. An outside search is being
conducted. Gulis, who has been with Wolverine for 22 years, will
replace Arthur Croci, who will be retiring from Wolverine in 2008.
Among other changes:
- Scott Sible has been promoted to president, Outdoor Group, consisting
of the Merrell and Patagonia brands. The Sebago business will be
transferred to the Heritage Brand Group, positioning it to take
advantage of that group's global infrastructure to accelerate the
growth of this 61-year-old brand. Sible was previously president
of the Merrell business and, in his new role, will assume global
responsibility for strategic direction and accelerated growth in the
Merrell and Patagonia businesses.

Nicholas Ottenwess will be appointed Senior VP – operations of the
Outdoor Group, with responsibility for the group's global operations,
strategic development, finance and administrative functions. Ottenwess
currently serves as VP – finance and corporate controller, a capacity
he will continue to serve in during the CFO transition. During his 19
years with the company, Ottenwess has held a broad range of domestic
and international corporate and operational positions in the company.

James Zwiers has been promoted to SVP, responsible for retail, legal,
new business development and strategic planning operations. Zwiers,
whose appointment is effective January 1, 2008, most recently served as
president of the U.S. Hush Puppies business and previously as general
counsel and secretary for the company. Wolverine said he has had
extensive experience in both domestic and international assignments and
has been a key strategic contributor to the company's success.

Mark Neal has been promoted to president of the global Hush Puppies
company, effective January 1, 2008. He replaces Spencer E. (Skip)
Zimmerman, who will be retiring from the company in June 2008 as head
of the Hush Puppies company. Neal has been with the company for
12 years and currently serves as president of Hush Puppies –
International, a position he has held since 2002. He previously served
as VP of Sales for the Hush Puppies U.S. business.

A.T. Payne will become VP and General Manager of the Hush Puppies U.S.
business effective January 1, 2008. Payne currently serves as VP
and General Manager of the CAT and Harley-Davidson Footwear businesses
in the U.S. He has been with Wolverine for more than 15 years, having
held a variety of senior leadership positions within the Wolverine
Footwear and Heritage Brands groups.
