Winchester has a introduced a lead-free ammunition line, which includes the E-Tip, a lead-free bullet from that is one of the newest products developed for big-game hunters and complies with current state non-toxic regulations.
The E-Tip was co-developed with ammunition manufacturer Nosler and features an E2 energy expansion cavity, which Winchester said promotes consistent upset at a variety of impact ranges. The bullet is made up of gilding metal instead of pure copper, which helps prevent barrel fouling and provides for a high performance sporting bullet that is lead-free.
