WaterMark announced that Andy Papademetriou has joined WaterMark's management team as vice president of product development. Joe Pulliam has been promoted to executive vice president of business development and will remain at the Easley, S.C. facility. Mark Pate, vice president of marketing of all WaterMark brands, will relocate to Arcata, California in January 2004.

Andy's experience, energy and passion for the business will be invaluable to driving our product development to a new level. Joe is an industry icon and has been the backbone of our watersports business. With his intimate knowledge of the outdoor category, he will play an even more important role as we look to grow the company. Mark has played a key role managing the marketing of all of our brands. He has been instrumental in directing both the consumer communication strategy and retail support including point-of-sale merchandising and education/training. We look forward to having him here in Arcata”.

In his new role, Papademetriou will oversee product research, development, and testing efforts for all land and watersports categories.

Papademetriou comes from Motorola where he spent 20 years in a variety of senior management positions. He has extensive domestic and international experience, and has a proven track record in the design and engineering of technical products across multiple sites. Papademetriou is a mechanical engineer, and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. He finds time to enjoy his passion for the outdoors while currently working on his PhD.

Pulliam has been with WaterMark's Watersports group since its inception in 1998, serving as the president of Dagger and EVP Watersports. In this new position, Pulliam will be driving the company's growth strategies while continuing to manage the Easley campus.

Pate joined WaterMark in July of 2001 as vice president of marketing for boats and paddlesports accessories. He will continue to champion the strategic positioning of all WaterMark brands, and provide brand direction to the marketing and sales teams.
