Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. recorded a 6.5% increase in net sales to $26.99 billion during the month of July, accompanied by a 1.9% increase in same-store sales. Comparable store sales at U.S. Wal-Mart stores increased 1.3%, while Sam's Club comps improved 4.9%.
