While the calendar said April, “March Madness” reigned.

It was a sibling rivalry of brand sponsorships in Monday’s night’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship with Nike’s Villanova taking on Jordan Brand’s North Carolina.

Villanova, sporting their dark blue Nike jerseys and white and dark blue sneakers, won the championship with a final-second three pointer, only seconds after North Carolina had tied the game with a three of its own.

The final score was Villanova 77, North Carolina 74.

The championship game capped off the 2016 edition of the tourney, which began with Nike sponsoring more than half the schools, albeit less than it had in the previous years. Still, the swoosh came out on top, beating its rivals Adidas and Under Armour along the way, with the final win over its sibling brand Nike-owned, but separate, Jordan Brand.
