Vasque announced its partnership as the official footwear of the United States Adventure Racing Association
for 2014.
The sponsorship coincides with the debut of its technologically advanced trail runner, the Ultra SST.
Dedicated to the promotion and support of Adventure Racing, the USARA’s mission is to guide and assist race directors and committees in conducting events that are fun, safe and fair to all participants. In addition, the organization provides for the health, welfare and safety of all participants, spectators, officials and volunteers, guaranteeing an exciting and enjoyable experience for all involved. In 2014, there will be 45 race opportunities where co-ed teams of 3 can qualify for the ‘Heart & Soul’ of Adventure Racing, the National Championships in October in Maryland.
“We have supplied footwear for top teams in the adventure racing world for their training and competitions,” states Marketing Manager, Julie Quinn. “It was a natural fit for us to partner with the USARA to support these athletes, the events they participate in throughout the year and the sport as a whole.”
