Vail Resorts, Inc. named Patricia Campbell as COO of the company's Keystone Resort. Campbell will report directly to Roger McCarthy, co-president of Vail Resorts' mountain division and chief operating officer of Breckenridge.

“Pat brings to Keystone 21 years of expertise in the ski industry, with extensive senior management experience running resort guest service and ski school operations to the position of chief operating officer of Keystone Resort. For the past seven years, she has served as a member of the senior management team of our Breckenridge Resort and played a key role in delivering the type of guest experience that has helped drive Breckenridge's growth and success as the second most visited ski resort in the U.S. I'm thrilled that she will be joining our executive team and know that Vail Resorts will really benefit from her keen understanding of guest service. I am extremely confident that she will lead the talented senior management team at Keystone in continuing to enhance the resort's guest experience and growing our business,” said Rob Katz, chief executive officer of Vail Resorts.

For the past six years, Campbell has been director of skier services for Breckenridge Ski Resort, responsible for overseeing the departments of ski and ride school, ticket and product sales and guest service, among others. Prior to this position, she served as director of the resort's ski and snowboard school. She was director of the ski and snowboard school for Grand Targhee Ski Resort in Alta, Wyo., for from 1995-1999 and in various roles from ski school instructor to assistant ski school director for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort from 1985-1995.

Campbell holds a bachelor's degree from Middlebury College and is Level 3 certified instructor with the Professional Ski Instructors of America. She serves as a member of the board of the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center.
