Cleland, most recently, was a senior sales manager at LA Golf, where he played a “pivotal role in driving dealer sales initiatives.” The company said his leadership and strategic vision “contributed significantly to LA Golf’s growth and success in the competitive golf market.”

Before LA Golf, Cleland was a recruiting specialist at Club Champion Golf, tasked with identifying and hiring talent to enhance the company’s fitter network.

His extensive experience and proven track record in the golf industry make him a valuable asset to our organization. With Tyler leading our sales efforts, we are confident in our ability to continue delivering exceptional products and service to our customers.”

In his new role, Cleland is responsible for “driving growth in VA Composites’ aftermarket business, focused on supporting authorized VA dealers and fitters. He will play a vital role in providing product knowledge and guidance on fitting VA shafts and enhancing customer service initiatives to ensure an exceptional experience for VA dealers.”

“I am honored to join the VA Composites team and contribute to the company’s ongoing success,” said Cleland. “With my background and passion for the game of golf, I am eager to collaborate with our dealers and customers to further elevate VA Composites’ presence in the market.”

VA Composites said Cleland’s hire underscores its commitment to innovation and excellence in golf shaft technology.

“His leadership and industry expertise will undoubtedly strengthen the company’s position as a leader in the U.S. market and beyond,” the company wrote in a release.
