Fanatics Trading Cards Raises $350 Million

Fanatics has raised $350 million for its trading card company, Fanatics Trading Cards. The round values the new venture, which has yet to release any product, at $10.4 billion, according to sources familiar with the talks. Josh Luber, co-founder of sneaker marketplace StockX, will join Fanatics Trading Cards as co-founder and chief vision officer.

NPD Report: Golf Equipment Sales Surge Through August

Golf equipment dollar sales grew by 37 percent from January through August 2021 compared to the same period a year ago, reported The NPD Group. Year-over-year sales of golf club sets and balls grew by 37 percent and 27 percent, respectively. 

Puma’s CEO Sees Potential To Double Revenues

In an interview with the German-language Handelsblatt newspaper, Bjorn Gulden, Puma’s chief executive, said the sports brand has the potential to double its sales to more than €10 billion to $11.5 billion in the long term.
