NRF Sees Positive Start To Holiday Spending

From Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday, more than 165 million Americans shopped either in stores or online, surpassing the 164 million who had said they would shop in a consumer sentiment survey conducted ahead of the holiday, according to findings from the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics.

Women’s Running released its 2018 Audience Study based on interviews with 6,572 of its readers. The survey found Women’s Running audience on average spent $1,438 each year on running-related goods and services and an additional $1,155 on running-related travel. Respondents on average ran average of 198 days a year for 941 annual miles.

Hibbett Slightly Lowers Full-Year EPS Outlook

Hibbett Sports Inc. slightly lowered its full-year earnings guidance after reporting third-quarter earnings came a penny below Wall Street’s targets. Comps in the quarter were basically flat.
