Under Armour opened its first pop-up store in New York City. The 3,300 square foot store, at 3 West 57th Street, displays several of the uniforms for the U.S. team members competing in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. These include the USA Freestyle Ski team and USA Bobsled team, which are sponsored by Under Armour.

The store also features a full line of hottest Under Armour athletic apparel, footwear and accessories. The company has four full retail stores in Washington, D.C., Annapolis, as well as 35 factory outlets throughout the country.

“Our brand mission is to make all athletes better and providing our country's finest athletes with uniquely designed, state-of-the-art uniforms that push the boundaries of innovation brings immeasurable value,” said Nathan Shriver, Under Armour's art director-interactive, according to a report in Brandweek.. “Debuting these uniforms at the 2010 Olympics in front of the world is a huge step in Under Armour's growth as a global brand.”

Under Armour's Pop-Up store is offering activewear ranging from ColdGear Socks for $9.99 to men's Riff Jackets for $549.99, and will include various innovative products- Under Armour ColdGear, Eco Waffle T's, and Catalyst T's made from recycled water bottles. The limited edition graphic tee and hoody collections- inspired by the city's urban aspects- illustrate the NYC skyline, street signs and subways. The store will also feature an assortment of cold-weather accessories and over 40 styles of footwear.
