The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics extended its partnership agreement with BSN Sports to keep Under Armour the University’s official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand through the 2028/29 academic year.
UTRGV started its contract with Under Armour under a five-year contract with BSN Sports in 2020.
Under Armour will continue to supply UTRGV’s 16 sports programs and emerging football and women’s swimming and diving programs with training gear for competition, practice and community appearances while also outfitting the University’s coaches and athletic department staff.
“We are energized to be able to continue what has been a strong relationship with BSN Sports and Under Armour,” UTRGV Vice President and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque said. “BSN Sports has provided significant, individualized attention to our sports programs, and this partnership serves our student-athletes well. We look forward to continuing to be a part of an Under Armour family that includes an impressive group of NCAA Division I programs for many years to come.”
