Under Armour appointed Kevin Ross as SVP, managing director of Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). With nearly 20 years of experience working for Adidas, TaylorMade, Under Armour, and Yeti, Ross brings “proven talent and regional expertise to the company.” He will report to President and CEO Stephanie Linnartz.

Ross backfills the position recently vacated by Kara Trent when she was appointed president of UA’s Americas business.

Leading Under Armour’s EMEA business, Ross is responsible for developing and executing regional omnichannel growth strategy and delivering brand consumer experiences to advance the business’s presence and sustainable profitable growth in the region.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kevin back to Under Armour. His experience leading growth strategy and business operations in the region gives me great confidence that he will continue to harness the momentum that we’ve been able to establish in EMEA,” said Linnartz. “Kevin also brings back extensive knowledge about this iconic brand, which will allow him to step into this role with familiarity and conviction.”

Ross commented on his appointment: “I’m excited to return to Under Armour, a brand I deeply respect, and I am honored to lead the EMEA region. After watching UA’s evolution and witnessing the consumer demand, I believe the potential for Under Armour is unmatched. I am eager to begin working with UA’s talented team again, continuing to grow and strengthen our connection with consumers across the region.”

Ross joins Under Armour from Yeti, where he was managing director of International, leading strategy and business operations to achieve “double-digit and even triple-digit growth in its critical markets.” During his previous time at Under Armour, he spent nine years working in various executive roles, including product creation, team sports, global football, tennis, and sales.

Ross graduated from Jacksonville University and earned a Masters in Education rom The University of Tennessee.
