Bad to the Bone Sports, creators of the Ultra Race of Champions (UROC), has signed a multi-year partnership with CamelBak. Now in its seventh edition, UROC will take place on May 13 at Skylark Nature Preserve and Lodge, located on 500 acres along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Raphine, VA.  The mission of UROC is to create the Super Bowl for the sport of ultra-distance running, while remaining open to all runners, celebrating the inclusive nature of the sport.

“We pride ourselves in partnering with sponsors that improve the experience of our competitors,” said James Russell Gill III, UROC race director and Bad to the Bone Sports CEO.  “CamelBak, a leader in the hydration packs and products industry since 1989, is a fitting partner offering an extensive line of personal hydration packs.  An endurance race as challenging as UROC cannot be completed without a strong hydration strategy and a comfortable and versatile hydration pack. CamelBak offers an extensive line of run hydration products to fit the needs of just about every type of runner.  We are very excited to have CamelBak on board!”

“At UROC, we are committed to delivering the best and most exciting race experience to every runner,” said Francesca Conte, Bad to the Bone Sports president.  “It is this passion and drive that align and unite us with CamelBak.  By selecting from the CamelBak lineup, runners won’t go wrong in their choice of personal hydration product.”

“Ultra-distance running is one of the ultimate tests of hydration. UROC is the perfect venue for CamelBak to showcase our all new run line for 2017,” said Kevin Taylor, CamelBak marketing manager.  “From ultra-lightweight 3D mesh to the first ever insulated soft bottle, we’ve pushed the boundaries to create run hydration that can stand up to the Super Bowl of ultra-distance running and fuel podium level performances on the trails.”
