UFC Gym will open its new gym in the Ahwatukee neighborhood of Phoenix on Thursday, May 4 from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. PST. The 12,000-square-foot facility is located at 3830 East Ray Road and follows the opening of the Tucson franchise late last year.
“We believe we’ve built the premiere fitness facility in the area, and we’re excited to show off all the features and amenities to the local community,” UFC Gym Ahwatukee franchise owner Rob Kelley said. “Our coaches are professional caliber athletes with years of experience in an array of training disciplines, and their eager to share their knowledge and passion for fitness with our members.”
The new facility features a 24-foot Octagon, strength training and cardio machines, battle ropes, agility ladders, bag room, group fitness studios, Brazilian jiu-jitsu studio and other functional training equipment for dynamic workouts.
UFC Gym will be offering free classes and demonstrations, with UFC Hall of Famer and former two-time UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes leading seminars at 4 and 5 p.m.
