K2 Sports said Jeff Cunningham has been hired as national sales manager for Tubbs Snowshoes. Most recently he was Eastern Key Account Manager for Gramicci and prior to that, marketing director and national sales manager for Mammut Sports group. Cunningham will be responsible for managing the efforts of nine independent sales reps who also sell PowdeRidge and Little Bear Snowshoes brands in the U.S. market.
“Jeffs roots and experience in the outdoor industry present a real advantage for Tubbs Snowshoes and its specialty retailers,” said Tim Petrick, VP Global Sales for K2 Sports. “Cunninghams background is ideal to help us maintain and grow Tubbs leadership in the snowshoe category.”
Cunningham has more than a decade of experience in the outdoor industry. Prior to Gramicci and Mammut, he worked in The North Face's marketing department and managed the company's tradeshow's. After graduating from the University of Montana in 1996 with a degree in marketing and a major in finance, Cunningham applied his passion and expertise for rock climbing into launching Quartz Creek Expeditions, a successful guiding service and outdoor retail business located in Missoula.
