Trust Performance, a leader in multi-link front suspension design, announced that Rob Aguero has joined its rapidly growing team as global sales manager. Aguero will focus on building and managing Trust Performance’s North American and International distribution channels.
“Rob has built his career by acting with integrity, a laser-like focus on his customers and his commitment to building long-standing relationships. And, he has fun doing it,” said Hap Seliga, CEO of Trust Performance. “With the inquiries and demand we’ve seen since we introduced the Message just a couple months ago, the time is right to bring in someone of Rob’s experience to catalyze that interest and help establish our distribution worldwide.”
Aguero has spent nearly 15 years in the bike industry, playing an integral role in the growth and development of many of the industry’s top brands. Previous to joining Trust Performance, Aguero served as manager of sales and business development with Mountain Racing Products and US Brand Manager with Lightweight Cycling Products. He has also served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Reynolds Cycling and as International Sales Manager with Pivot Cycles.
“I’ve known and respected the core team at Trust Performance for years. To be working with them to develop broader distribution and establish the brand presence in shops throughout the world is both humbling and exciting,” remarked Aguero. “There is so much passion behind the brand and the technology. In addition to Aguero’s hire, Trust Performance also recently welcomed Matt Church into the role of Product and Customer Service Manager. Church joins the team from Reynolds Cycling, where he served in a similar capacity before its acquisition by Hayes Performance Systems.
