Tractor Supply Company has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Large Employers*. The company’s ranking improved to the 177 spot in the 2023 report from the 329 spot in 2022.

Tractor Supply employs over 50,000 people and has more than 2,000 employees working in its stores in 49 states. The company also owns and operates Petsense by Tractor Supply, a small-box pet specialty supply retailer.
*Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best Employers 2023 through an independent survey applied to a vast sample of approximately 45,000 American employees working for companies with more than 1,000 employees in the U.S. Across 25 industries, 1000 employers were awarded, 500 large employers and 500 midsize employers. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees that were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employers to friends and family. Employee evaluations also included other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.
