Dorothy Sadd was hired as Tom’s global COO and CFO. Most recently, Sadd was CFO and COO at omnichannel fashion brand Unique Vintage. Prior positions include VP of Europe at VF Corp. and as COO of Boulder-based Fresh Produce, a women’s apparel brand.
“Appointing Dorothy as our new COO and CFO was an easy decision for us at Toms,” said Magnus Wedhammar, CEO. “She brings 25 years of experience in the footwear and retail industry from finance to logistics to management and is coming in at a pivotal time to continue to grow Toms as a mission-driven brand. Wedhammar, former GM at Sanuk, was hired as CEO in January about a month after Toms founder Blake Mycoskie and private equity firm Bain Capital announced plans to cede control of the company to creditors as part of a debt restructuring.
