Timex Group B.V. has appointed David Gilbert as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Gilbert joined the company June 1 and reports directly to Timex Group President and CEO, Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard.


In his new role with Timex Group, Gilbert will to leverage his two decades of HR and change management experience to build a world-class global human resources program. He will be responsible for talent development activities and transactional services, as well as optimizing the company’s reward and retention programs.

Mr. Gilbert joins Timex Group from fashion retailer BCBG Max Azria, where he served in the same capacity. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Sony BMG Music Entertainment, most recently as Senior Vice President, Human Resources – Global Operations. Before that, he spent eight years at Levi Strauss & Co.
