Thorogood, the maker of work boots since 1892, has launched a women’s work boot line using the same standards it has over the years to create footwear that protects and provides comfort for demanding jobs.

The Thorogood women’s boot collection joins the company’s American Heritage Series, which features the same moc toe, American full-grain leather upper and constructed in its Weinbrenner shops in Wisconsin.

The boots use a combination of U.S. and globally sourced components.

Thorogood’s women’s boot collection meets ASTM safety standards for slip, oil, puncture, and electrical hazard (EH) resistance. They offer a non-safety toe with a wedge sole or a steel toe with a 90-degree heel.

Rather than resizing Thorogood’s men’s boots, the company uses women’s lasts—a footwear form around which the boot is built—ensuring a proper fit for women’s feet, which typically have higher arches than men’s.

With over 130 years of experience crafting American-made boots, Thorogood brings its craftsmanship, durability and style to its women’s work boot line, a testament to its commitment to providing exceptional footwear for workers in demanding jobs, regardless of the type of work.
