Thermore Group, a Milan-based manufacturer of thermal insulation alternatives for performance apparel since 1972, has launched Invisiloft, a slim insulation that combines “exceptional warmth with unprecedented thinness.”
Invisiloft offers insulating capacity with minimal bulk, marking a significant step forward for designers and creators of technical garments that are lightweight and functional, including performance garments. Due to its packable nature, Invisiloft is also well-suited for everyday wear and easy storage in small spaces without compromising functionality.
Made with 100 percent recycled fibers from post-consumer PET bottles, Invisiloft offers an ideal combination of softness, lightness and high thermal performance when seeking thermal performance combined with eco-friendly materials.
Invisiloft is Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified, affirming Thermore’s commitment to sustainability within the apparel industry.
Invisiloft has four weights, from 100 to 200 per square meter, and “adapts to any design, meeting different climate and comfort requirements.” Consumers can clean garments made with Invisiloft using a normal wash cycle or dry cleaning.
Thermore noted in the creation of Invisiloft, the material reaffirms the company’s position “as a pioneer in the textile industry, driven by innovation, performance, sustainability, and durability.
