Thermacell Repellents, Inc. announces the launch of its Thermacell E55 Rechargeable Mosquito Repeller. With a 20-foot zone of mosquito protection, the E55 provides an “80 percent larger zone of mosquito protection than previous Thermacell mosquito repellers,” said the brand.
The E55 builds upon its rechargeable technology, Thermacell introduced with Radius in 2018 but is now “more powerful, faster to activate and easier to use.” In addition to its expanded protection area, E55’s rapid heating function begins releasing repellent minutes after turn on, driving mosquitoes away without sprays, odors or open flames.
The enhanced user interface uses audio tones and LED lights to let the user know when the repeller is turning on or off, when the device reaches optimum temperature and how much battery life remains. The product comes in five colors and measures 3.75 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall—about half the size of a water bottle.
“Now more than ever, Thermacell recognizes the need for people to gather comfortably outside,” said Adam Goess, director of new product development, Thermacell. “The E55 generates an expanded mosquito protection zone so you can connect with friends and family without worrying about mosquitoes or how close together you are.”
