The North Face plans to open its Atlanta store on Aug. 15. The 6,000-square-foot store in Buckhead is the company’s 22nd retail location. It incorporates The North Face updated retail design, which features oversized graphics, concrete floors, wood and red accents.

The store also has a 20-foot wall mural graphic, Khumbu Climbing School philanthropic wall, light boxes on wooden columns, two large mountain scene wall graphics, light box on red footwear wall, and The North Face’s “Never Stop Exploring” tag line.

“The new Atlanta location allows The North Face a tremendous opportunity to connect with the area’s very active outdoor community in the area,” said Lindsay Rice, The North Face vice president of retail. “2008 marks The North Face’s 40th anniversary and we’re excited to celebrate this year with the opening of our first Southern location.”
