The Jordan Wings Collection, the brand’s pinnacle capsule, was released in China this month in limited quantities. The Made in Italy apparel underscores craftsmanship, luxurious materials and manufacturing excellence.

The collection elevates the Jordan Brand to “heirloom status,” respecting the staples that cemented the iconic brand’s status in sport, culture and style from 1984 to today.

Apparel includes basketball-inspired silhouettes, including a hoodie, varsity jacket, diamond shorts, and a tracksuit manufactured in lambskin, cashmere blends, premium fleece, and other fabrications. Hoodies and tees take their influence from the “legacy of the Jumpman,” including features that were “masterfully completed over time.” For example, the Jordan Wings net sweater is modeled after a nylon basketball net and hand-stitched over seven hours to achieve the realistic properties of a net. The accessories are inspired by the proportions of the Jordan Wings logo, whether through patterns or dimensions, like the Wings-shaped pouch made of calfskin.

A fresh take on the limited-edition Air Jordan 1 High ’85 Wings and Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 Wings was crafted by hand in Italy. Three of the shoes were made with full-grain Italian leather, while another with hair-on-hide, full-grain Italian leather. Each upper was hand-stitched and features 3-layer hand-painted leather edges throughout. The internal lining is heavy satin and sock liners are poured PU with foot-conforming properties.
