The Conservation Alliance appointed active outdoor industry veteran Joe Craig as interim executive director. He previously served on the Conservation Board of Directors from 2015 to 2022.
Craig worked at Columbia Sportswear Company for over 24 years, starting as a sales rep in 1979 and working through the ranks to national sales manager, then vice president of U.S. sales and finally to SVP of North America sales. Craig retired from the company in 2018 but continued working in the industry as a contract sales leader, advisor, business and management consultant.
Craig is a member of the Board of Directors for Central Oregon LandWatch. He has spent a lifetime working on conservation efforts and has consistently advocated for the preservation of natural resources and public lands.
