Comparable store sales, for stores open at least one year, for the four-week period ended May 3, 2003 were up 1.2 percent from comparable store sales for the prior year four-week period ended May 4, 2002.
Net sales year-to-date, for the 13 weeks ended May 3, 2003 increased 2.3 percent to $81.7 million from $79.8 million for the corresponding 13 weeks in the prior year. Comparable store sales year-to-date were down 0.7 percent from sales in the same 13-week period of the previous year.
