To celebrate Tentsile’s 8th Anniversary, on March 18, the brand will release the DUO Giant Hammock to its Gen 3 lineup, its largest and toughest double hammock.
“The DUO represents Tentsile’s commitment to customer feedback. A double hammock that can be retrofitted with a roof for open hammock camping and also combines with other modular products in our range to create “Stacks,” multi-level camping solutions for larger groups and families,” said Alex Shirley-Smith, Founder.
At 13 feet, 2.7m long, the DUO Giant Hammock fits two adults and their gear with room move or relax. The DUO features underfloor storage nets to keep gear clean and dry. Available in either fabric or mesh material, the hammock is reinforced with car seatbelt webbing and heavy duty ratchets, using Tentsile’s patented built-in anti-roll strap system to create two separate sleeping bays.
With a set up time of 10 minutes, the DUO is easy to pitch with three three anchor points.
The DUO can be set up as a stand-alone hammock or as part of a multi-storey Tentsile Stack. Fitting it underneath a Connect 2-person Tree Tent with the Double Bubble insect mesh allows campers to create two protected sleeping spaces. With Gen 3 products, tree protector wraps and underfloor gear storage nets are included as standard.
