After review by an independent panel of judges, the Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA), has selected the following 10 companies to highlight their innovative, new-to-market products at the SFIA Innovative Product Showcase: Amer Sports, Brooks Running, Hyperwear, ONX, Rawlings, RecoverX, RhinoB, Rhone, Superfeet, and United Sports Brands.

“The excitement around last year’s Start-Up Challenge inspired our team to explore new ways to highlight product innovation,” said Tom Cove, SFIA President & CEO. “We launched this new initiative with a vision of creating a launch platform of sorts for companies bringing new products to market. Many products you’ll see in Chicago aren’t hitting shelves until 2018. There was a heavy emphasis on new products during the selection process. Our team is looking forward to this showcase and hearing the feedback from our attendees and media about the products on display.”

Debuting at the Opening Reception during the 2017 SFIA Industry Leaders Summit (ILS) on September 12, 2017, these products will be exhibited throughout the entirety of Summit in a ‘museum-like’ format.

“The SFIA Innovative Product Showcase is an exciting addition to the Industry Leaders Summit and I’m honored the judges have chosen to highlight Brooks,” said Brooks Running CEO Jim Weber. “We are laser focused on delivering products that push past the expected to enhance the running experience and deliver performance, comfort and joy mile after mile. The new product we’re showcasing features groundbreaking technology for an all-new experience from Brooks that will amp the run like never before.”

To visually enhance the display of these notable brand products the SFIA has partnered with Spectas, visual merchandising and retail marketing experts with close to a century of bringing innovative brand solutions to the market.

“We’re thrilled to partner with SFIA in the presentation of the 2017 Innovative Product Showcase. It’s an honor to work alongside some of the biggest and brightest minds in the industry,” said Chris Bull, president, Spectas. “As retail evolves, so do the needs of the companies in the sports and fitness industry. Our hope is that in partnering with SFIA we can more closely follow the technologies and experiences that those companies want to bring to their buyers.”

Product categories represented at the Showcase include 3D printing, apparel, fitness, footwear, footwear accessories, protective, recovery, running, team and technology.
