Technical Knockout Inc., the maker of health and fitness equipment, signed a license with Gertex covering headwear, and cold weather accessories.

According to Aaron Mandelbaum, president of Gertex, “We are extremely excited about our new TKO relationship. The debut collection of men’s and women’s hats, gloves and neckwear/scarves will reach stores in time for back to school 2016 and in keeping with TKO's direction and image, will combine great styling with functionality to meet today’s demands.”

Expected retails will range $8 to $30 with about 24 SKUs in the initial assortment.

Garry Kurtz, president and CEO of Technical Knockout, stated, “This is an important category for TKO and I am confident that Gertex is by far the best company to represent our brand. Its expertise and reputation are unsurpassed.”

Presently, the TKO assortment includes boxing gloves and punching towers (from its early days) as well as body balls, yoga mats, fitness electronics, dumbbells to kettle balls and newly added agility training accessories. TKO recently added legwear to its mix. Other related fitness deals are in the works for a collection in the indoor-outdoor head-to-toe range.
