TARE7, owner of genetic airwalk skateboarding proudly announces the appointment of Steve “Stix” Nilsen as the national sales manager of the genetic airwalk skateboarding division. Stix has enjoyed a long history with the airwalk brand, and in his new role will handle genetic airwalk skateboardings growing national account base, as well as managing the divisions independent, domestic sales force.

Stix rejoins the T7 ranks after a brief stint in the Northwest and at EPS-Doublet where he spearheaded programs for a variety of action sports and outdoor-market brands. He is well known throughout the industry for his many years as an airwalk Product Developer, Brand Ambassador, as well as his service as a Product Marketing Manager for airwalks snow division.
“In a short period of time, the genetic program has made a name for itself with a tight product offering and a committed marketing program that has attracted an A-list team roster and garnered the respect of a super competitive industry,” said Nilsen. “Smart growth has given this program legs, and Im pumped to have the opportunity to run with it.”
Aside from spending copious hours practicing air guitar to Slayer tracks, he spends his free time as an avid participant of virtually every action sport discipline. When hes not snowboarding, skating, surfing or riding his motorcycle, Stix keeps in shape by attempting to keep pace with his bionic wife Patty and two extremely large dogs.
