The Athlete's Foot will hold its Global Franchise Convention at SGMA Spring Market. Franchise owners from all over the world will join sporting goods and fitness industry retailers and team dealers at the event. The Athlete's Foot is also a featured exhibitor at the SGMA show. For the first year, the company will have a booth on the show floor and will host a private VIP lounge where franchise owners can host meetings with exhibiting manufacturers.

NexCen Brands also entered into a new $150 million banking agreement arranged by BTMU Capital Corporation to support further acquisitions, and also acquired the Waverly home furnishings brand. Waverly became NexCen’s second branded acquisition. Waverly becomes the second acquisition in consumer branded products vertical.
