Swing Control is reporting that it has expanded the scope of veteran designer Nancy Robitaille’s role to include the brand manager role. She will reportedly oversee Swing Control’s full brand vision starting with the SS26 launch at the PGA Buying Summit.
“In this new dual capacity, Robitaille will continue to lead the creative direction while taking on broader responsibilities for the brand’s strategic growth and development,” the company said in a media release.
“Since joining the company in 2023 as lead designer, Robitaille has infused Swing Control collections with her signature blend of polish, performance and modern femininity. Her designs have been widely embraced by retailers and golfers alike, helping to position the brand as a go-to for stylish, on-course apparel that transitions effortlessly beyond the green,” Swing Control continued.
In assuming a broader leadership role, Robitaille will oversee the brand’s vision, guiding all aspects from trend forecasting and product design to merchandising and customer experience. The company said her early background in sales “brings a valuable commercial lens to her creative work, helping connect the design process with the needs of today’s consumer.”
“It’s an incredible honor to step into this role with a brand that reflects my core design values,” said Robitaille. “Swing Control is about more than apparel. It’s about empowering women to feel confident and look sophisticated, whether they’re on the course or out for the day. I’m excited to help shape the brand’s next chapter.”
Before joining Swing Control, Robitaille spent over a decade as the head designer at Fila Golf Sportswear for Fersten Worldwide. She was also a designer for Fitmatics Performance Apparel, working with Fersten. Her resume also includes leadership roles in the corporate and performance apparel sectors, where she is said to have developed “a keen understanding of fashion’s intersection with functionality.”
