Suunto announces premium variants to the brand’s two sports watches, the Suunto 7 and Suunto 9.

Both watches feature a minimalistic design with five titanium bezels and turn-by-turn navigation powered by komoot, and the Suunto 7 receives a software update, integrating sleep-tracking analysis, body resources management, and immediate heart rate feedback visibility.

The Suunto 9 offers up to 170 hours of GPS sports tracking in “Tour” mode and is tested against U.S. Military standards [MIL-STD-810] with durability in all conditions.

“As a brand, we believe it’s crucial to develop healthy sleep habits for optimal athletic performance and recovery, maintaining consistent daily energy levels and establishing long-term positive sleep cycles,” said Heikki Norta, Suunto’s President. “The upgraded Suunto 7 Titanium model reflects our emphasis on the importance of sleep by providing a wearable that is comfortable on the wrist 24/7 and features all the tracking tools and analysis needed to develop positive sleep habits.”

The Suunto 7 Titanium builds on Suunto’s sports expertise and features, including an ultra-bright OLED touch display, more than 70 sport modes and smartwatch features from Wear OS by Google with access to thousands of apps via Google Play.

Three silicone straps with pin enclosures and matching colors with the latest Suunto 7 Titanium and Suunto 9 Baro Titanium will be available in May.
