Six-year-old golf phenom Patton Green has inked a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Sunday Golf, a manufacturer of golf bags, making him the youngest to sign a partnership agreement.
Green, from Southern California, is the 2022 Southern California State Champion for six and under and has nine first-place finishes in competitive tournaments. He is considered a top golf prodigy in the U.S.
Green signed the deal during a press conference at Sunday Golf’s headquarters in San Diego, marking the company’s first NIL deal as it seeks to expand the company’s presence in youth golf.
“Patton is one of the best golfers we’ve ever seen regardless of age,” said Ronan Galvin, CEO and co-founder of Sunday Golf. “It’s even more impressive that his character exceeds the level of his game for a person his age. Growing the game and making it a fun experience is the core of what we do, and we’re looking forward to working with Patton to help grow golf at the youth level.”
Launched in 2020, Sunday Golf offers its Loma bag, a minimalist-golf bag designed for par 3 course and the driving range, weighing less than two pounds and carrying six clubs. It also manufacturers lightweight golf bags, including its recently launched Loma XL, El Camino and Ryder bags.
