Stride Rite Children’s Group announced that Stride Rite Rewards, its first ever multi-channel loyalty program launched in November 2012, has achieved the Million Member milestone within six months, significantly ahead of the estimated  enrollment rate.  Trending ahead of industry standards, 75 percent of specialty store and online transactions are associated with a Rewards member.

“Fully integrating and mobilizing our Rewards program within striderite.com enables our moms to research, shop, and manage her Rewards account conveniently with the device of her choosing,” said Stephen Donnelly, Stride Rite® Children’s Group SVP/GM of Direct-to-Consumer. The brand is growing its digital and mobile marketing capabilities to further an already deep relationship with existing customers and extending its outreach to new moms entering the category who are digitally demanding. Stride Rite will deploy its full CRM marketing capabilities to the loyalty effort, including plans to do more personalized communications to provide mom solutions that help her provide the best footwear for her child from birth through early grade school years. Aimed at retaining customers, Donnelley added, “With over one million members and growing, we believe the Stride Rite® Rewards program has positioned us for a strong back-to-school season.”

The new rewards program provides the following benefits to Stride Rite® Rewards members:

  • $10 reward for every $75 spent
  • Free shipping on www.striderite.com for purchases over $35
  • Invitations for members-only offers
  • Member updates and fit reminders
  • Welcome kit with 100+ valuable coupons from partner companies

“For almost 95 years, Stride Rite has been committed to providing parents with the highest quality and best fitting shoes for their children,” said Kiran Smith, Stride Rite® Children’s Group VP of Marketing. “The Stride Rite® Rewards program is our way of saying thank you to all of our loyal customers, and we hope to deepen our relationship with parents as their family experiences each milestone of childhood.”
