Stormy Kromer will open its renovated store at its factory and corporate headquarters in Ironwood, MI.
Along with the first viewing of the new store, Stormy Kromer friends and fans will be treated with local pasties, giveaways, factory tours, and the opportunity to meet some of George “Stormy” Kromer’s relatives.
“With the larger space we can now really showcase the brand, share its history, and provide a much improved shopping experience for our visitors,” said Gina Thorsen, Stormy Kromer president.
The grand opening celebration is scheduled from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on July 15 at 1238 Wall Street, Ironwood, MI. Factory tours will be offered on the half hour from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Along with Stormy Kromer staff and ambassadors, three generations of the brand’s founder George “Stormy” Kromer will be in attendance.
The new factory store is about twice the size of the original factory store. The store will feature the complete Stormy Kromer offering including its Original cap in all colors and the brand’s new collection of summer hats and accessories, as well as discontinued items, seconds, and one of the kind samples.
Throughout the store company memorabilia and photos will be on display, including news clippings, family photos, and one of Stormy Kromer’s personal baseball bats.
“Previously, most of our memorabilia could only been seen on our factory tours, but now we will be able to share more of it with all our visitors,” added Thorsen.
