Stio, the mountain lifestyle brand based in Jackson Hole, WY, announced the promotion of Noah Waterhouse as its president and chief marketing officer. Waterhouse will report to founder and CEO Stephen Sullivan.
In his new role, Waterhouse is responsible for ensuring the efficient function of Stio’s business to drive significant, sustainable growth. He will lead the executive team and bring together product development, operations, finance, marketing and sales teams to deliver on the vision of the founder, board of directors and senior management.
“As one of our founding and most influential employees, Noah has served admirably in his role of chief marketing officer for the past four years and before that as our original director of marketing and sales,” said Sullivan. “His leadership, disciplined planning, strategic and analytical skills have been instrumental in Stio’s rapid growth trajectory and I’m very confident handing over additional responsibilities to both support and enhance our annual operations and long-term business objectives. Noah’s promotion comes with not only my vote of confidence but the unanimous support of Stio’s board of directors and advisors.”
“I’m very excited to be taking on an expanded role here at Stio,” said Waterhouse. “I look forward to working with the rest of the senior team in this new capacity to support our exceptional staff and position the company for continued growth.”
As CMO, Waterhouse has led the company’s direct to consumer sales and marketing strategy while driving a compounded annual growth rate of 54 percent over the past five years. Prior to joining Stio, he was creative services director at Circ Design, where he led account strategy and business development efforts for the agency. He started his career as a partner and marketing director at RhinoSkin, a multi-channel manufacturer of handheld computer accessories.
