Stack Sports, a provider of sports technology, announced that it has extended its partnership with New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS), which will leverage the new U.S. Soccer Connect platform for its member club management. As strategic partners, both organizations are committed to supporting the members of NJYS to make soccer easier for volunteers, administrators, coaches, and parents.
U.S. Soccer Connect is an exclusive version of the Sports Connect platform built on the foundation of the Blue Sombrero and Affinity technologies and will serve as the member management technology platform for both NJYS’s state office and its member clubs. NJYS members will benefit from the platform’s enhanced functionality, including mobile-first player registration, marketing and communication capabilities, financial reporting, automated coach compliance, background screening, league and tournament scheduling, and direct integration with NJYS’s two parent organizations, U.S. Soccer Federation and U.S. Youth Soccer.
“The mission of New Jersey Youth Soccer is to provide fun and safe soccer experiences at all ages and abilities for the youth soccer community,” said Evan Dabby, Executive Director, New Jersey Youth Soccer. “Knowing the countless hours our largely volunteer membership gives to supporting this mission, our association listened to our members and conducted a detailed analysis of the technology options. At the conclusion of that process and after extensive internal discussions, we decided that this partnership provides the most efficient and tested experience for our member clubs.”
“The goal of Stack Sports and Sports Connect is to make sports easy to manage for administrators, volunteers, coaches, and families so that they can focus more time and attention on the game and the players. We’ve had the privilege of partnering with a significant number of New Jersey clubs through the years, but this expanded partnership with NJYS allows us to support the game of soccer in New Jersey on an even wider scale,” said Tom Arnett, General Manager of Sports Connect.
With the extension of its partnership with NJYS, Sports Connect now powers over 50 national governing bodies and associations, more than 20,000 sports clubs and leagues, two million teams, and manages over $1 billion in payments annually.
With nearly 50 million users in 35 countries, Stack Sports is leading technology in SaaS platform offerings for the sports industry. The company provides software and services to support national governing bodies, youth sports associations, leagues, clubs, parents, coaches, and athletes. Some of the largest include the U.S. Soccer Federation, Little League Baseball and Softball, and Pop Warner Little Scholars.
